BenMar Farm Irish Draught Horses

BenMar is a small Irish Draught Horse Stud Farm dedicated to preserving the highest quality type, bone and athleticism of the Irish Draught breed. We also produce versatile and athletic Irish Draught Sport Horses that are as beautiful as they are functional. BenMar Farm is located in the lush rolling bluegrass hills of Goshen, Kentucky, a small community outside of Louisville, surrounded by some of the top thoroughbred farms and equine hospitals in the country.

BenMar Farm is proud to serve as an ambassador farm for the Irish Draught breed.  We welcome many visitors from all over the country eager to learn about and meet these majestic horses in person.  We are pleased to say our horses have converted even the most ardent of skeptics!

This exciting stallion passed his inspections at the 2005 Irish Draught Horse Society National Show with glowing remarks and admiration from inspectors and spectators alike. The inspectors commended Belfrey on his “Presence and Athleticism”.
